The foundations for onshore wind turbines are made from concrete, however, due to the large, dynamic forces associated with a tall steel turbine on concrete base, a special, high-strength grout is injected to the connection of the concrete and steel flange of the turbines tower to absorb these forces and provide a solid base over its service life.
Onshore wind sites are remote and require detailed planning and flexibility to perform to a high standard in challenging conditions. We can meet your project requirements and look forward to discussing this with you.
Areas we also cover include
For each project we use our specialist equipment and personnel to plan, execute and deliver on specialist grouting projects.
Every project is unique and we plan for all eventualities including for a broad range of material choices.
For wind turbine foundations and other fields. Sealing helps maintain the foundation by protecting the concrete and grout to maintain structural integrity and longevity for its service life.
